Responsible Use & Consent
Authorization first. Always.
SPY8 is a family-safety platform. These rules are a condition of using it — read them before creating any request.
SPY8 is designed for authorized use — typically a parent or guardian monitoring a child’s device with the required consent.
Who may use SPY8
- Parents or legal guardians monitoring a minor’s device, where local law permits.
- Device owners monitoring their own devices.
- Organizations monitoring devices they own, where consent is documented.
What is prohibited
- Monitoring an adult’s device without their knowledge and consent.
- Monitoring any device you do not own or lack authorization for.
- Using the platform to harass, stalk, intimidate or harm any person.
- Any use that violates applicable local, national or international law.
How consent works in SPY8
SPY8 begins with a mobile number, but the number alone is not access. The monitored device completes a required permission and verification flow, and the console displays the authorization state for every request. Only authorized requests are processed.
Your responsibilities
- Confirm you have legal authority and required consent before submitting a request.
- Inform the device user where the law requires disclosure.
- Keep your account credentials private.
- Stop using the platform immediately if consent is withdrawn.
Enforcement
Requests may be rejected where authorization cannot be verified. Accounts found using SPY8 for unauthorized surveillance may be suspended and reported where the law requires.
